Our July 4th
Three posts in one day......don't faint!
I know I am late posting about our 4th but I have been in a blogging slump needless to say. We had a great day at the creek after the rain let up which was a little after noon. My husbands mother made these adorable outfits for my children.
We have an amazing view where we go every year on the family farm. There is a creek that flows right through part of the land and makes for a great swimming, fishing, canoeing area. This year Naomi spent most of her time in the water.
Naomi isn't real into fireworks but she did give the smoke bombs a try and enjoyed those. However this was the first year that we let Josiah light fireworks on his own and he done nothing but let bottlerockets off all day and had the greatest time doing that.
It always seems that the 4th is the hardest on the babies with it being hot but Eli done fabulous! He played and rarely ever fussed. Played the majority of the time and then took a nap for a little bit and was ready to go for the rest of the night.
We usually spend our evening at the creek shooting off fireworks there but this year we decided to head to a local town and watch the fireworks that the town shoots off over the lake. It was a gorgeous show and we had an amazing time! Overall the day was great and I am ready to do it all over again next year.

Little Joshua
This little guy belongs to one of my best friends Sherri and her husband Josh. I love to photograph children and while he was visiting his grandparents several weeks ago I got the opportunity to take some photos of him. He is full of life, has the most beautiful color of blue eyes and is a great story teller. Little Joshua has an amazing mother and father who have their hands full trying to keep up with this little guy!

9 Weeks Our Little Grape
A grape? That's the size of the life growing within me these days and it's finally starting to look like a baby instead of a tadpole as our son Josiah would say. Hormones are raging these days and I will be glad when this first trimester is over! I had a doctors visit on July 7 and the official due date according to the doctor is February 10 but I believe they are about two weeks behind however they are going on what the ultrasound shows. I say my last cycle was somewhere around April 20th and they are saying that according to the ultrasound it was in May. Anyway guess we will see what the baby measures in September at the time they do an ultrasound to find out if it is a boy or girl! I have lost 4 pounds since getting pregnant but haven't been real sick. I started out overweight anyway so I am trying to be very careful on what I eat so that I don't gain a lot of weight especially since I am *almost* positive this will baby will make our family complete!
It seems so far away until I deliver this little one but when I stop to think that:
1. This year is already over 1/2 way finished.
2. Walmart is putting out all there school supplies.
3. I have a baby that just turned one and it feels like I just had him.
4. September is only a little over 7 weeks away which means time to start thinking about fall.
5. Not to mention Christmas is coming all to soon.
So needless to say it probably really won't be that long until we introduce our little one to the world!
Please be in prayer with us that this pregnancy continues to be a healthy pregnancy without complications, with a healthy baby and a great delivery for me and the baby come early next year. I am overjoyed with excitement to watch God complete our family.
